Kris oversees Scale LLP’s marketing across every component, including go-to-market strategy, demand generation, content, product marketing, recruiting enablement, marketing ops, data analytics, branding, PR & communications, community & client marketing, video production, digital campaigns, and everything in between. She brings over 20 years of experience as a strategic leader in hyper-growth companies bringing modernization to industries ripe for change, from LegalTech, PropTech, FinTech, RegTech, to PeopleTech. Throughout her time in Silicon Valley, she’s experienced 3 successful exits and a pre-IPO unicorn valuation.
Prior to Scale, Kris ran the marketing department at Side, Inc., with a similar business model. She helped grow Side from under 20 to over 500 employees and from Seed to Series D with a $2.5B valuation, in under 4 years. During that time the community grew from less than a dozen real estate partners in San Francisco, to over a thousand across the nation. Kris started her career as a litigator at Dentons and Baker & McKenzie in Chicago and is a frequent speaker on the use of technology to optimize the delivery of advisory services. She’s most at home in highly-collaborative companies where smart people come together to solve complex problems – in business and in the community.
