Caitlin is a seasoned real estate attorney with a diverse background in both public and private sectors. She joined Scale in 2024 after serving in senior leadership roles in the federal government, where she handled complex transactions and projects involving commercial leasing, land acquisition and disposal, land use, environmental, and regulatory issues. She also advised on corporate governance, commercial contracts, and partnerships for various federal business lines, such as medical and agricultural research, healthcare, cemetery and memorial properties, and agricultural grants and programs. Caitlin has a wealth of experience working with federal, state, and local agencies, as well as private and non-profit entities, to achieve successful outcomes for her clients.

At Scale, Caitlin leverages her extensive knowledge and skills to assist clients with all aspects of real estate transactions and development, from due diligence and title review, to financing and closing, to land use and zoning, to environmental and historic preservation. She also counsels clients on corporate governance, compliance, and risk management issues related to their real estate portfolios and operations. Caitlin has worked with clients as fractional general counsel in a variety of industries, such as SaaS/AI, biotechnology, healthcare, medical research, and non-profit management.

Caitlin is a problem-solver and a team player who strives to deliver practical and effective solutions for her clients. She is attentive to detail, responsive to client needs, and adept at negotiating and drafting contracts and agreements. She enjoys working on challenging and innovative projects that have a positive impact on the communities and the environment.

Outside of work, Caitlin enjoys practicing martial arts, and exploring new places and restaurants with her husband and two children. She is also an avid reader and a supporter of various local and national social impact organizations.
