Michael is an Associate in Scale’s Litigation Practice Group. His practice focuses on advising clients in connection with government inquiries, internal investigations, and complex civil litigation matters. He has experience representing clients at the federal and state levels, as well as in complex cross-border matters.
While in law school, Michael gained significant hands-on experience through law school clinics and through several substantive internships. For example, Michael provided supervised legal services to criminal defendants through the Rising for Justice Clinic in Washington D.C. He also served corporate clients through a law school clinic that represents urban entrepreneurs and non-profits where Michael focused on transactional and other corporate matters. Finally, Michael completed two internships at the U.S. Department of Justice: the U.S. Attorneys’ Office for the District of Columbia and the Criminal Division’s Office of International Affairs. During those internships, Michael provided support to government prosecutions ranging from murder to international bribery and fraud.
