Michael is a law clerk at Scale. He assists attorneys across the firm on regulatory, compliance, white collar, litigation, and corporate matters. While keeping up with the academic rigors of law school, Michael gained significant real-world experience in both criminal and corporate law.
Michael’s work experience in criminal law includes both prosecution and defense. He has completed internships at the U.S. Department of Justice at both the Office of International Affairs, and the U.S. Attorneys’ Office for the District of Columbia. On the defense side, Michael was selected for the impactful Rising forJustice Clinic, where he provided supervised representation to individuals charged with criminal offenses in Washington D.C. On the corporate side, Michael served in his law school’s Community Development Law Clinic, where he worked on transactional and business matters while representing non-profit organizations and small, urban entrepreneurs.
Michael has worked closely with multiple law professors. He has served as a research assistant to one professor with a focus on corporate law, and as a teaching assistant to another professor in multiple criminal law and procedure courses.
