John’s practice focuses on commercial real estate transactions and related debt and equity financings for large financial institutions, national and regional banks, and alternative providers of commercial financings.  He has significant experience advising construction lenders, providers of asset-based lending facilities, syndicated loans, mezzanine loans, tax credit financings, commercial leases, health care facility financings, and corporate loans.  John’s expertise includes: negotiating purchase and sale agreements, construction contracts, and title matters; representing landlords and tenants in commercial leasing transactions; negotiating SNDA's, estoppel letters, legal opinion letters and other related documents; and negotiating and closing Affordable Housing tax credit deals. John also performs pro-bono work on behalf of local nonprofit legal providers and volunteers at the Veteran’s Hospital Jacksonville, with Duval County’s magnet schools, and for Jacksonville Legal Aid’s “Lawyers in the Library” program.
